An SGM will be held Sunday 12th April at 10am (prior to the monthly Rūnanga meeting) to vote on a proposed change to the THONW Inc constitution. The change proposed is intended to enable more time to complete the annual audit. Currently the AGM to accept audited accounts has to be held before the end of September however that means the timing for completion of audits is very tight which creates some risks around completing the audit process fully and on time. The change with allow the audit and AGM to be held any time before the end of December. Most likely it would be in November as it is for many Rūnanga. The proposed wording is below.
The Annual General Meeting of the Society shall be held each year not more than six (6) months after the end of the financial year (30 June).
